Chris, I know we cant pointless kill in smp and all, but if I make a defense trap in my home or to guard my things is dat ok? Or is it no killing watsoever.

do not run up to someone and kill them with anything in your hands, thats pointless in this server.

BUT traps are fun and ok. mainly because thats not pointless killing, thats protecting your possesions. :-)

Seb has a point dispencers are a good way to defend ur stuff i go on my friends server 'offline' he allows and all my gear is protected by dispencers or TNT mines

lol yea... but how about when people disarm your traps? Is that actually allowed? btw I thought no griefing, but does that cover traps that are about to kill you? 0.o

Don't mess with anybody's stuff, whether it's about to kill you or not. If you are going to be killed by their trap, chances are you've trespassed on their land and it's all your own fault anyway.

ok thx, so youre saying its ok to put possession defense traps and those counts as part of teh building so they cant touch or tamper with it and they will get punished as if they had griefed the building, and its also ok if mah trap killed ppl. Is that it Manny?
