Brohoster is GONE

Brohoster has unexpectedly gone out of business.. this SUCKS because not only did we lose our plugins and settings... but the money we paid YESTERDAY to renew for the month. I already filed a paypal dispute, so we should get that back.

I backed up our world saves 8 days ago, so it's not a TOTAL loss, but anything you've done the past 8 days is gone... it's rumored that there will be a backup file we'll be able to download.. but who knows when that'll happen...

This morning I woke up to seeing Brohoster's entire network being reclaimed. Brohoster is now gone. I've worked for the company for over a year now. Ask me anything.

FORMER CLIENT NOTICE: People with paid web services from Brohoster, please contact Namecheap and ask politely if they could help you aquire your domain name, as the company formerly handling it is no longer in business. (Provide them with http://clubuptime.com/ for reference) They may state they're unable to help. At that point you must contact ICANN.

To those with game servers from Brohoster, I'm sincerely sorry, but there is absolutely nothing I can do to help you. Everything is gone. Just imagine the office building of a company vanishing, and the only remnants are the piping to the former structure. This is pretty much what I awoke to myself, even as an employee.

Sorry for the late reply, but kelsey and I have been moving from our apartment. Yes, brohoster is gone, and like I said, whatever you've done up until the 24th has been saved! There MAY be a backup that we'll be able to download.. but i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it! I backed up the server then, BUT our plugins and settings are gone (and I assume all the MySQL stuff.. which sucks but isn't a huge deal).

The Teamspeak is down and we're getting a new host tomorrow, FINALLY we'll be able to set our server banner, SET RANKS (no more invisible people in other channels!), and UPDATE our server. It'll be a better experience all around.

For the 3rd order of business... I can't stress enough how important donations are. Donations keep The Epic Delve running, Kelsey and I have budding careers ahead of us and could be spending our time working on that, but instead of focusing 100% of our time on that, we also decide to run a sweet ass gaming community. We don't have the resources to run everything ourselves. TED has been run on donations since day 1 and continues to be user-run. Especially with this FAILhoster ordeal, funds are running low. Never assume that someone else will donate, a little bit here and there is always appreciated. I'll be spending most of my time REDOWNLOADING the plugins and RECONFIGURING every single plugin we had (FML). But I do it because I know how much Beta and the quality experience means to everybody and I don't like to do things half-assed.

For the people who have already donated, we can't thank you enough, because without you we wouldn't be able to run our servers.

(side note, we paid to renew our beta server the DAY BEFORE FAILhoster went to hell)

Sorry I can't donate, but if there is anything that i can help with the plugins, please tell me and I will help you do it.

Also, is there a reason someone built a glass sphere around spawn? fix it. I would but i'm not op in the server yet because kelsey and chris are moving.

Failhoster opened up the servers for 2 days, so we have time to back EVERYTHING up! WOOP!

Hopefully they'll let me back up the MySQL database.. if not, it's not biggie.

Side note, our old server had 2 gigs of ram.. our new server has 4

The server should be back to normal (but better) in about 12 hours or so, if not less.

So I worked on the server ALL day today. I uploaded about 1600 files via ftp.. so it was super slow. Everything is uploaded, but I went on it and the spawn area looks like an upside down cave.. half of spawn is there... lol. I'll work on it some more tomorrow. Everybody hang tight

server is still being worked on. The problem is a bunch of corrupted chunks that's causing so much spam in the console, the server can't even run.

Oh yeah when I tried to put my old world to my server today, it also had this problem too! So if you find out the solution, can you please tell me how to do it? *.*
