KB/M - Wireless Logitech one I have laying around (actually quite nice) used it for my prehistoric Pentium 4 PC back in the day.

HDD - Opened up my 1tb Ext HDD that I rarely used and found a nice WD Caviar Green 3.5" 5400rpm SATA HDD

Some things may or may not change depending on what feedback I get here and also if I ever get my student loan so I can buy/build and get cracking on college work with the new PC.

Lag-less Minecraft, BF3, GTA here I (hopefully) come.

Snazzy, that's about 1500 dollars in Aussie dollars, while mine will be around 1040. (Although obviously yours is much snazzier)

I get your point... its just I hate wires and plus I think I trust my wireless kb/m enough for it not to suddenly die when I am in the middle of a game... but, I do have a few wired kb's/m lying around somewhere so I might change my mind.

Its not that it might die, its the lag that the wireless causes.

oh yea *facepalm* i never thought of that... hmm good point, ill just have to test it out first after it's all built, maybe Logitech can back its name up since its known as a "very good brand". But still as prev stated i have a few wired ones laying around so if i experience lag with wireless I can plug in a wired one for BF3 :-)

oof Ohai im back and with good & bad news...

so my computer is finally built and it looks really sexy BUT... unfortunately to add to the stress of being a first time builder and worrying about breaking a over £1,000 PC, there's something wrong.

I did some self testing (different screens, pcie slots, output cables) and consulted a friends dad who agreed to my findings. Turns out my brand new £280 GTX 570 Graphics Card is Manufacture Faulty...D'oh, and being the most expensive part of my build it comes as a piss take/ shock.

So I have filed return/replacement which should happen in the next 2 weeks and if it happens again then it's obvious something else wrong, most likely my PCIe controller.

So ya i have finally built all of my computer...Woop

Now to wait for the replacement GPU -_-

Aw man, that's horrible. I was so happy when my computer worked when I put it together, hopefully after you get the new GPU it will work fine.
The only thing that didn't work with mine was the absence of a USB 3.0 connector on my mobo

ahh... was the connector supposed to be supplied with the mobo? bcus with my mobo theres a USB 3.0 bracket (optional) but my mobo says that it should be included, i might call up msi and see if they send me one. Same with you try that !!

Hmm, sounds good, it doesn't bother me much though cos I've still got the usb 3.0 connectors at the back of the computer.

My Computer is finally up and running, in fact this message was posted using the BEAST itself. So yea i got a replacement GPU and I was correct the other one was faulty so everything is up and running now and minecraft plays better than ever, cant wait to push its limit with something like BF3. Only 1 problemo is that my wifi signal has been derping out for the past week so i might still be complaining about lag due to this...Other than that its GAME ON
