Big News In Minecraft !!!

Notch is no longer working on Minecraft, instead Jens bergensten AKA Jebb) is now responsible for minecraft and on that note he has released 1.0 prerelease 11w48a (yes a pre-release). It re-added the tiga biome and also the normal trees (not birch or redwood) have a 1/200 chance of dropping red apples, also you can no longer trample on crops unless you jump on them. I found the reason why chests stay permanently open. When you open a chest (right click) dont press the right click more than once... if you rapid click twice or more the chest will permanently stay open. On minecraft wiki it says "In SMP, in cases of moderate to severe lag, if you exit the chest, the lid might stay open. Reconnecting to the server can fix this." but what i have just found is probably the main reason why the glitch happens, so make sure to right click only once if you dont want ugly chests.
