Explaining mah absence

Just letting you guys know that my lack of minecraft presence is due to a derpiffication of my internet connection. Should be fixed within a week.

Also, my studies have started so I may not be on with you guys (will still be on during the transition-ish period when noone is on) Sad

Will reply to this topic once I have a normal internet connection

Due to major ISP suckage, I can now only stay in gate and admin, as it just won't load guest at 5 KB/sec. You can reach me through pm if a griefer needs a hammar, just try to attach a pic and I'll be there ASAP.

Should be fixed in 4 days minimum, assuming the main ISP doesn't decide to not fix the line. Sorry about this...

check out a program called ultrasurf. I'd use it, but it connects you to a proxy server. It's legit, I've messed around with it. All you do is run it, and your internet speed will increase.

go to speedtest.net and run a test before you do, then run another test after you run ultra surf. post the results here Smile

it bumps my upload speed to about 6mb from .5 meg. but it lowers my download speed from 12 to about 7

it probably brings that up because it automatically connects you to a proxy.. and I'm sure all those AV programs freak out. I've used it and haven't noticed anything wrong with my computer

Hmm, either I necro this thread, or spam with this topic... Can't win either way Razz

Anyway, I'm going to go on a holiday starting Monday (local) for a to be determined amount of time (basically, Perth rental market is being derp, so I'm going camping till it stops being derp...). So I'll have very little if any internet access.
