February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011

He will be truly missed by people all over the world for his his creative and amazing products such as:
iTunes
iMac
Macbook
iPod

Although I for one have not appreciated his work as much as I should have mainly because iPad Sucks and iPhone = quite a simple/cheap idea and way too expensive.

But I still appreciate the technology he has brought to our world such as Mac's which may be difficult to use at first but are truly an awesome substitute to a PC if you have the money.

Also adding that the styles/looks of products have gone from the old grey Mac to awesome glossy sleek and beautiful technology is a very innovative idea that he has created.

"The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come." - Bill Gates ("Colleague, Competitor & Friend")

I surely hope that the new co-founder (I forget his name) can live up to the expectations of Apple and not try to be like Steve (in-character) but be like him in his innovations and creativity.

I watch my iPod every week-end night in respect of him.

Steve Jobs wasn't that great a person.

Touch screens?
Done before.

Tablets even?
Done before.

Apple is worth over 300 Billion freakin' dollars.
How much is given to charities? 0.

0 dollars buddy.

That is how much Jobs thought of starving children, abused animals and homeless men.

Agreed With Kelsey... Whether or not he may or may not have been such a nice person he did change technology even if he took something that already existed and made it better it still is a step forward (in some cases a BIG step forward)... and to the point of him not donating to charity is not a reason to disrespect the dead.

Bashing? No.
I am not... against Steve Jobs.

What I'm trying to say is that a lot of this praise isn't really warranted.
