A piston mod has now been implemented on our server.

Instructions:

Gold blocks are pistons. Place a gold block, then right click on the side of the block you want to act as a piston, then, power it using redstone. NOTE: The redstone doesn't have to go straight into it.

Tip- Pistons can be used to launch people and dropped items into the air.

you can stack them, but they can't push each other (at least the plugin we have can't). You can stack them by building a wall behind the one you want to stack and placing it on the wall above the first one. You can't right click on gold blocks without them acting as a piston.

Looks like the real thing will be able to push other pistons, along with anything stuck to them.

the pistons this guy uses differ from the mod we have. i'd really like to have such a cobble factory though.

Well, most of us like playing Minecraft without exorbitant amounts of lag, so there's a good reason for that rule.

but lets say everyone on the server made a redstone repeater clock because bono got to do it so why cant i
then the lag would probably be pretty noticible
